Job Description: The Medical Imaging Clinical Coordinator is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority in this front line leadership role. Under the direction of the Manager, the Clinical Coordinator will facilitate the overall daily function of nursing care within Medical Imaging ensuring a high quality of patient care services. The incumbent, working within a collaborative interdisciplinary team, will provide visible, proactive leadership and promote the delivery of patient centered care. In collaboration with their Manager, the Coordinator is responsible for assessing the needs of the program, its staff and clients by planning, implementing and evaluating its day to day function. The Coordinator will use a consultative approach and research findings to provide support to health care professionals as appropriate. Under the direction of the Manager, the Clinical Coordinator integrates knowledge, skill and research into the development and delivery of quality, client centered care.

Experience

  • Min. 5 yrs. recent acute care nursing, 3 of which must be in Medical Imaging
  • Requires extensive knowledge & experience within all Medical Imaging modalities

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Other Education and Training

  • Nursing diploma is acceptable

  • This is a Multi Site position between the Regina General Hospital and Pasqua Hospital. The home base is Regina General Hospital
