Job Description: The Program Development Educator (PDE) is responsible for developing education programs that enhance the knowledge and skills of staff within the former Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region (fRQHR) under the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) model of care. Working closely with the CNE Supervisor and other stakeholders—such as leadership in continuing care homes, hospitals, and across the SHA—the PDE assesses staff learning needs, develops educational content, and evaluates program effectiveness. Utilizing a consultative approach and evidence-based research, the PDE will create and implement education programs for nursing teams across long-term care facilities supported by the Program Services team. The PDE will serve as the champion and resource support for the Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Capabilities, Environment, and Social (P.I.E.C.E.S.™) program across all healthcare networks. The incumbent is accountable for sustaining and growing the program to support current and future needs and building capacity by embedding the use of the P.I.E.C.E.S.™ approach in the delivery of care. Additionally, the PDE will support inter Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) assignments and projects by working closely with the Regina RAI coordinator and provincial peers as needed and facilitate change management by acting as champion for convergence systems
