Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Pharmacy Practice Support, the position is committed to the integration of knowledge and skills to assist in coordinating the orientation of new staff,
pharmacy student programs and to ensure development and upkeep of tools and information for healthcare providers and/or patients re: medication related issues. The incumbent
is also responsible for representing the Department on designated committees and coordinating pharmacy initiatives as it relates to the designated projects. The incumbent will be
required to work in a Clinical Pharmacist role when required.

Experience

  • Two years previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting

Education

  • Entry-level Degree (Bachelor of Science Pharmacy or entry level PharmD)

Licenses

  • Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP)
  • CPRB certification from an accredited Pharmacy Residency Program is an asset
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Memberships

  • Membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacy (CSHP) is an asset
  • Pharmacy Association of Saskatchewan (PAS)

  • Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.
