Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, the Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for the assessment and treatment of clients incorporating best practice and evidence based research. The incumbent will also be responsible for the supervision of students assigned to them.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Education

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from a program recognized by the Canadian Physical Therapy Association and registration with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists.
  • Eligible for membership with the Canadian Physical Therapy Association.
  • Certification for life support is required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for the service delivery area when required.

Other Information

  • Must hold a valid driver's license where required by the position.
  • This position is MULTISITE - and may be required to provide services to other Convalescent Care/Transitional Care sites.
