Job Description: The Senior Social Worker is an experienced clinician who may provide supervision and coaching within acute care in the Women's and Children's Team, reporting directly to a Women's and Children's Team Manager. The position requires the use of high order knowledge, clinical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to assess and support clients and/or to coach, mentor, orientate and provide education to an assigned team in Women's and Children. Drawing on standards of practice for case management; professional codes of ethics; social work standards of practice in health care; program policy and procedures; and, relevant legislation, the senior social worker provides high quality client service and maintains professional standards of practice.

  • Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)

Experience

  • Experience in pediatric oncology an asset
