Job Description: The clinical dietitian is responsible for nutritional care of children and adults with genetic metabolic disorders requiring treatment by diet modification of children with disorders who require special feeding supports. This includes appropriate assessment of nutritional requirements, diet prescription, development and implementation of a nutrition care plans, education and counseling for client/parents, and support of long term follow up care often extending throughout the life cycle. The incumbent reports to the Associate Director of Professional Services. The clinical dietitian works collaboratively with the other team members from a variety of clinical disciplines.

Education

  • Dietetic Internship certificate
  • Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr))

  • Ability to work independently
