Job Summary: Under the direction of the Manager of Clinical Nutrition Services, the Dietitian is responsible for managing the nutrition care of patients. This includes nutritional assessment, development and implementation of nutrition care plans, diet counselling, evaluation of care and arrangement for follow-up care. The incumbent acts as a nutrition consultant to other members of the health care team, shares department responsibilities and provides education experiences for nutrition students.

Experience

  • Experience as a staff dietitian is preferred. Experience in nutrition support will be considered an asset.

Education

  • Accredited Dietetic Internship
  • Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr))
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association (SDA)
  • Registered/eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC)

Other Information

  • Experience as a staff dietitian is preferred.

  • The caseload for this position will include adult acute care.
  • Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
