Job Description: The Nutrition and Food Services (NFS) Dietitian will enhance the quality of resident care through development of nutrition and food services quality improvement and education programming to support SHA-NFS operations and provide nutrition and food services related consultation services to urban and rural long-term care (LTC) homes. The NFS Dietitian partners with the Community Dietitians and LTC Consulting Dietitian to provide consistent nutrition and food services care within the LTC homes. This position collaborate within a matrix reporting structure supporting SHA NFS and Continuing Care (Urban) portfolios.

Experience

  • Experience working in Long term care is an asset

Education

  • Dietetic Internship certificate
  • Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr))

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Current Canadian Food Safety Certification
  • Registered/eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC)
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians
