Job Description: The Executive Assistant is directly accountable to the Vice President of First Nations & Métis Health of the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and provides executive and project support in a one-on-one working relationship. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining the office of the Vice President. The Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to the portfolio, Senior Leadership Team and the office of the Chief Executive Office team. This position ensures that processes are in place to support the efficient and effective operation of the Vice Presidents' portfolio and Executive Office, through accurate, timely and efficient execution of administrative support functions. The incumbent works closely, in a collaborative and co-operative manner, with members of senior management team to assist in accomplishing the provincial health authority's objectives.

Experience

  • 3 years of experience working in a senior administrative-type role
  • Supervisory and/or management experience

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in administration, commerce or business

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Additional training in the use of spreadsheets, databases and word processing software.
