Job Description: The Executive Director, Community and Foundation Relations is a key leader in Saskatchewan health care, partnering with system leaders to achieve provincial healthcare goals. Reporting to the VP, Community Engagement & Communications, the Executive Director develops and implements province-wide engagement strategies with communities and health and hospital foundations. They oversee policies, practices, and procedures that align with SHA’s strategic direction while strengthening partnerships with foundations and fostering a culture of philanthropy among SHA staff and physicians. This leadership role enhances awareness of the essential role of foundations in the health system, supports foundation partners in fundraising, ensures alignment between foundation priorities and SHA needs, engages proactively with system and community partners, and leads contract negotiations related to major capital infrastructure projects.

Experience

  • Ten (10) years leadership experience
  • Experience in strategic planning, stakeholder relations and health care philanthropy

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
