We are looking for a hematologist to join the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency in Saskatoon on a full-time, permanent basis.
Our hematologists provide services at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre (20 Campus Drive).
The position will have responsibilities in the care of both benign and malignant patients, the proportion of each to be determined in collaboration with the team.
Our hematologists are eligible for a clinical appointment in the Division of Oncology, College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan and are also involved in teaching medical students and residents including those at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
The successful applicants will have obtained or be in the final stages of obtaining certification in Hematology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or have equivalent education, training and experience. They must be able to work in a multidisciplinary academic setting, and engage collaboratively with the team.
The successful candidates must also be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), meet the requirements for membership in the medical staff of the Saskatchewan Health Authority (Saskatoon) and hold valid Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage.
