Job Description: The Pediatric Outpatient department offers over 20 pediatric specialty services and serves 100-200 children and youth with complex health care needs on a daily basis. The Manager will be responsible for the operational and strategic utilization of clinic space, working with the managers who have oversight of specific subspecialty programs, as well as strategic oversight of provincial outreach clinics provincially. Supporting the development of provincial outreach clinics and provincial outpatient care standards as part of the provincial Moms and Kids Health Saskatchewan team is a key responsibility of this position. The vision is to provide administrative support as well as developing and maintaining a central referral system for the Pediatric Subspecialty Divisions holding clinics at JPCH. This position will also encompass as liaison for JPCH responsibilities, working with non-clinical departments is an expectation. The manager will foster a culturally competent environment which supports child and family centered care through a trauma informed approach.

Experience

  • Experience developing programs in a complex, multi‐stakeholder environment
  • Experience as a leader who has developed and led innovative planning
  • 5+ years of experience in pediatric or adult medical and surgical units

Education

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Nursing
  • or a related Health Sciences field

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
