The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) - Saskatoon and the University of Saskatchewan, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks one maternal fetal medicine subspecialist with clinical and academic interests to join their team. Responsibilities will include inpatient, outpatient and community clinical and academic service. The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary care environment.
The successful candidate will have appointments in both the SHA and the University of Saskatchewan. There are 5,700 deliveries per year and a maternal fetal ultrasound unit for outpatient ultrasounds and procedures.

Candidates must hold certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, be Royal College certified in maternal fetal medicine and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS).

University of Saskatchewan - The beautiful University of Saskatchewan campus is located on the shores of the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon, a city with a diverse and thriving economic base and a vibrant cultural life. It is a research-intensive institution with a strong reputation for innovation and excellence, and it is home to the newly constructed Academic Health Sciences Complex (https://healthsciences.usask.ca/) and two of the largest science projects in the country - the Canadian Light Source synchrotron (www.lightsource.ca) and the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization/International Vaccine Centre (www.vido.org). A users group is available for collaborative research with clinical faculty using the $173.5 million Canadian Light Source synchrotron, owned by the University of Saskatchewan. The College of Medicine has an intake of 100 students per year with a commensurate number of positions for residency training.
