Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care on a cardiac short stay unit.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

  • Two (2) years Cardiac Monitoring experience is required

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Critical Care Nursing certificate (CCN)

Other Education and Training

  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Nursing Services related to the care of Cardiac Patients
