Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care on Medicine 6100 (Oncology/Hematology/BMT).

Human Resources Exemption: No

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable

Other Information

  • Knowlege of principles related to the care of patients on Medicine.
  • Provincial posting open to SUN members - SUN/SAHO CBA Articles 27.02 and 27.05
  • Previous Oncology/Hematology/BMT clinical experience is an asset
  • Ongoing willingness to pursue development pertinient to the clinical area.
  • 1st preference given to staff of fSaskatoon HR employees and its affiliates
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
  • Canadian Oncology Nursing certification is an asset.
