Experience

  • 5 years recent full-time experience in Cardiology nursing
  • Experience in a clinical leadership role such as charge nurse or equivalent
  • Practical expertise in this specialty area is preferred

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Critical Care Certificate

Other Education and Training

  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS)
  • Masters Degree in related field is an asset
  • Canadian Nurseds Association certification in Cardiovascular Nursing
  • ACLS Provider Certification

  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
