Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager of Health Mother Healthy Baby Program, The Nutritionist provides ongoing support, consultation, and education for Healthy Mother Healthy Baby staff in regards to nutrition and the nutritional status of their clients. As part of this role the Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program requires the services of a registered dietitian to provide ongoing training of staff in the delivery of the Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program and to ensure the elements of a comprehensive prenatal nutrition program are incorporated.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr))
  • Dietetic Internship certificate

Other Education and Training

  • Bachelor of Dietetics is acceptable

  • Ability to work independently

  • Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
