Job Description: The Staff Occupational Therapist is an integral member of the Interdisciplinary team of the Kinetik and Fit for Active Living programs. The Staff Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluation, physical reconditioning, work hardening, functional activity simulation, vocational reintegration, education for clients with musculoskeletal injuries and hand and upper extremity rehabilitation.

Education

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Competencies

  • Advanced - Communication skills

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to develop, evaluate and modify programming provided to clients
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to be flexible and willing to change
