Job Description

The Division of Orthopedic Surgery, Department of Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is actively recruiting a full time clinical Orthopedic Surgeon with at least one year of Fellowship training in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine.

The position is based in Saskatoon. There are currently four Orthopedic Surgeons (all Fellowship-trained) providing comprehensive Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine care to a population of over 700,000 people. The successful applicant will be required to work collaboratively with the Division of Orthopedic Surgery. The individual will be required to provide excellence in patient care, teaching and research. Clinical or translational research interests are supported. The academic rank will be commensurate with expertise and training. The successful candidate will participate in undergraduate and postgraduate education and multidisciplinary research programs.

The anticipated start date of this appointment is summer/fall of 2025.

Job Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold certification or be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS).
