The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) – Saskatoon and University Saskatchewan, Department of Medical Imaging, Division of Radiology seek an interventional radiologist with clinical and academic interests. Within the department, we perform multiple aspects of interventional radiology including biopsies, drainages, vascular access, diagnostic angiography, embolization and tumor ablation.
The successful candidate will perform diagnostic imaging within the hospital or associated clinics, in addition to contributing to the academic residency training program. The candidate will participate in 1:5 acute on-call roster covering interventional radiology only. Training in a 12 month long dedicated interventional radiology fellowship is expected. The successful candidate will have appointments in both the SHA and the University of Saskatchewan.
Qualifications/Requirements of the position – The candidate must be Board eligible in diagnostic radiology. Preference will be given to candidates holding certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
