Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Social Worker - BSW $35.137 to $42.966

Job Description: The incumbent will provide case management services including assessment, counselling and co-ordination of services to individuals who are experiencing distress or dysfunction related to mental and/or substance abuse disorder, trauma, cumulative stress or problems in living. This position will primarily target clients with complex needs with an emphasis on the young adult population aged 16-25. This position will require working with clients on a drop in basis as well as some community work.

Experience

  • Experience in a mental health and addictions program required
  • 1 year of supervised clinical counselling

Education

  • Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Registered Social Worker (RSW)
