Job Description: The Occupational Therapist provides assessment and treatment of patients, clients, and residents of all ages with physical, cognitive and/or psychosocial impairments in multiple health care settings as per therapy protocols and best practice guidelines.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

  • Experience in performing the therapeutic process
  • 1 year experience in a mental health setting.

Education

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

Competencies

  • Written Communication Skills
  • Verbal communication skills

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Knowledge in community development
  • Knowledge of human development relating to Autism Spectrum Disorder

Other Information

  • Registered/eligible with Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy (CAOT)
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists
  • Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
