Psychiatrist

Job Description

The Saskatchewan Health Authority, Swift Current is looking for a Psychiatrist to join our Mental Health team. You would be working with an excellent team based group that includes two other psychiatrists and other Mental Health professionals. This contracted position offers clinical work, in-patient consultations and emergency room coverage. On-call responsibilities are shared between the three psychiatrists. Office space and support staff are provided by the Region.

Job Qualifications

Successful candidates will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) in Psychiatry. Individuals must be eligible for provisional or regular licensure from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS). In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
