The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), Southwest Area invites qualified physicians to apply for the position of Southwest Rural Locum. The successful applicants will join the Department of Family Medicine and provide short-term itinerant services which may include: clinic, hospital, on call, long-term care facilities, satellite clinics and other duties as assigned. Successful candidates must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS). The candidate will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC). Applicants will also hold ACLS certification and must have currentCanadian Medical Protective Association coverage. Applicants must also have a valid Saskatchewan driver's license.
This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family centered care.
