Job Description: The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) integrates skills, knowledge and the principles of adult teaching and learning in the provision of educational programs/services to nursing staff within Saskatchewan Health Authority. The CNE will provide visible, proactive leadership and promote the delivery of safe, client centered care through the application of practice standards. In consultation with the Manager Multidisciplinary Teams (Clinical Standards and Professional Practice), the CNE is responsible for identifying and prioritizing the clinical learning needs across the spectrum of nursing services within Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Experience

  • Five (5) years experience in Acute Care

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Competencies

  • Intermediate - Computer skills

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Knowledge in nursing process and principles of adult learning

  • Tisdale is located approximately 40 km east of Melfort
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
