Job Description

We are currently seeking a Family Physician to join the Riverside Health Complex in Turtleford, SK, NW Area. The Riverside Health Complex works with individuals and families through innovation and partnerships in a holistic manner to achieve optimal levels of health. The team comprises 24 hour emergency, Laboratory/Diagnostic Imaging, Medical Clinic Services, Primary Care Group Physician practice, Nurse Practitioner, Ambulance Services – St. Walburg, North Battleford, Public Health, Home Care, Physiotherapy, Aboriginal Liaison, Dietitian (Visiting), Addictions (Visiting), Clinical Nurse Educator (Visiting),Family Counseling (Visiting),Occupational therapy (Visiting), Quality Care Coordinator (Client Advocate).

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is dedicated to learning and is a partner in the growing educational needs of medical students and residents from the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan.

Relocation Package

This opportunity is eligible to receive the Rural Physician Incentive Program of up to $200,000!
We are pleased to provide a recruitment and relocation incentive of $15,000.00 for 3 years return for service to new physicians who choose to reside in Turtleford.

Job Qualifications

This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family centered care.

To be eligible you must hold certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) or have successfully completed SIPPA and be eligible for a license to practice family medicine in Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate(s) will also have ALCS training.

The successful applicant is expected to participate in the undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education programs of the Department of Medicine in the North West Area.
