The Wakaw/Cudworth Primary Health Care Centre is seeking a permanent full time Family Physician. The Primary Health Care Team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and registered nurse, is available during the day on weekdays, and extended hours on Wednesday evening until 8 pm and Saturday morning from 8 - noon. The physicians and nurse practitioners rotate through the extended hours with equal participation by each practitioner. Presently 4 days/week of practitioner service is provided at the Cudworth Primary Health Centre. The practitioners and managers work together to arrange the schedule. Practitioners provide service to long term care residents in Wakaw and Cudworth.
A CEC was added to the Primary Health Centre in Wakaw and operates after clinic hours until midnight, 7 days per week. The CEC team consists of advanced care paramedics, primary care paramedics and off-site medical physicians to ensure urgency emergency care is provided to the community.
This opportunity is eligible to receive the Rural Physician Incentive Program of up to $200,000!
A Regular Saskatchewan Medical License, Canadian residency status, and eligibility for membership on the SHA Practitioner Staff.
New Family Physicians may qualify for $15,000 return for service incentive to sign for 3 years.
