Job Description: UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE DIRECTOR OF NURSING, THE RN/RPN PROVIDES ACCURATE ASSESSMENT, PLANNING, IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION OF RESIDENT CARE. AN ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY WITH FAMILIES AND THE HEALTH CARE TEAM IS REQUIRED. THE INDIVIDUAL MUST POSSESS A PROGRESSIVE AND INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO LONG TERM CARE.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

  • Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
