Job Description: The ASD Consultant reports directly to the Children's Therapy Program Manager and is responsible of delivery, coordination, and implementation of community resources and services for children and youth with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. This will include case management services and education to individuals on the Autisms spectrum, their families, caregivers and other service providers. The ASD Consultant, degree will work closely with the ASD Consultant Senior as well as other service providers for the target group including health professionals, school professionals and community service providers. This position is designated a field hours position.

Experience

  • Experience working with children & youth on the Autism Spectrum is an asset

Education

  • Master's Degree in a recognized human services field

  • Registered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body
  • Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
  • Travel required
