Family Physician - Locum (Contract)
Job Description
The community of Yorton requires locum family physicians to provide clinic and walk-in services from now until approximately October 2024. Long-term locums are preferred but will consider any availability.
Job Qualifications
- Certified or eligible to be certified with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
- Regular or Provisional License with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) (or eligible to be licensed)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Recommended - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Valid driver’s license
- Successful SHA credentialing including but not limited to acceptable reference checks and criminal record check with vulnerable sector
- Current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada
