Job Description: The Nurse Practitioner supports the mission, philosophy and objectives of the Saskatchewan Health Authority and is responsible for assessment planning, delivery and evaluation of health care services to the long term care residents and clients in the multipurpose beds of The Yorkton & District Nursing Home. This is done in collaboration with the family physicians, other health care providers, community organizations and programs and the resident and their family.

Experience

  • 3 years experience as an RN in primary care, public health or acute care

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP)
  • Master of Nurse Practitioner is acceptable
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
