Job Description: The Occupational Therapist-Degree Senior Community Based reports directly to the Director of Therapy and also has a reporting relationship with the manager of the facility they are working in. The Occupational Therapist-Degree Senior is accountable for assisting the Director in planning, organizing, directing and supervising the activities of the facility based and home based clients within the designated service area following the Occupational Therapy Professional Guidelines to ensure that patients/clients referred receive a high standard of occupational therapy. This will be done in accordance with the Sunrise Health Region Mission Statement; the Therapy Department Statement of Purpose; and the policies and procedures of the facility and department.

Experience

  • 2 years of relevant experience

Education

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

Licenses

  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists
