Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Speech Language Pathologist - Masters Senior $46.774 to $57.195

Job Description:

The Speech Language Pathologist-Masters Senior reports to the Manager of the Children's Therapy Program and will provide clinical guidance and leadership of Speech Language Pathology Services from early childhood to adults within the Sunrise Health Region. The Speech Language Pathologist-Masters Senior is a member of a health discipline whose training and knowledge qualifies him/her to make decisions and accept responsibility for all aspects of the Speech Language Services. Services will be provided in a variety of settings as deemed most appropriate for client service. The Speech Language Pathologist-Masters Senior is responsible for assisting in planning and organizing the activities of the designated service area within the Speech Language Pathology Professional Guidelines to ensure that patients/clients referred receive a high standard of Speech Language Pathology. His will be done in accordance with Saskatchewan Health Authority Mission Statement and Therapy Department Statement of Purpose, policies and procedures of the facility and department.

Experience

  • Two (2) years related experience

Education

  • Master of Speech Language Pathology (SLP)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

  • Travel within the region and provincially
  • Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
  • Registered/eligible with SK Assoc. of SLPs and Audiologists (SASLPA)
