Reporting to the Site Lead, the Health services Manager is responsible for the management and operations of the Inpatient Nursing Unit and Emergency Room Services. The Health Services Manager works with other Program managers to provide day to day supervision and integration of other clinical and support services at this site. The Health Services Manager will provide administrative leadership and management and ensures excellent client/patient centered services.
The Health Services Manager supports the Site Lead in implementing quality improvement initiatives with attention to patient safety, healthy workplace and financial initiatives. The position requires an individual with strong leadership skills, and the ability to work in and support a team approach to patient services in a multi-disciplinary environment. The Health Services Manager will have proven skills in human resources and financial management and demonstrated ability to foster collaborative working relationships with community partners and system stakeholders.
