This posting will be used to fill 1 full-time 14-month term position working 75 bi-weekly. It will establish a 12-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions.

Who we are looking for

As the Manager Clinical Practice and Quality Improvement, you will form an integral part of our collaborative leadership team. You will be responsible for managing the development, implementation, and monitoring of clinical practice training and structured orientation. Monitor trends and risks, identifying gaps and recommendations for new clinical policy. Conducting on-going evaluation and improvement of Community Nursing education and training programs and processes to support excellence in the delivery of client services. The position is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting on quality assurance and improvement activities in areas of responsibility. Providing clinical expertise to program staff and peer managers, you will collaborate to understand the needs of the communities we serve while ensuring the operational requirements of the branch are met. You will be responsible for managing expenditures, identifying budgetary requirements, and creating/sustaining a healthy work environment.

Conditions of employment

You must meet the following conditions before being hired, or within the time frame noted.

Security Clearance, Valid Yukon Class 5 Driver's Licence or equivalent, Yukon Registered Nursing Association registration in good standing.

Job requirements

This job requires you to perform, and/or be exposed to, the following:

Willingness and ability to travel throughout Yukon by air and road. Rotational after-hours emergency coverage by phone.
